Pilot Privacy Policy
Pointo Pilot collects, processes and uses personal data and uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our mobile applications (the "Pointo Pilot App") and associated online products and services (collectively, the "Services") and in connection with other interactions and communications you have with us. The Services are provided by Pointo Pilot ("Pointo Pilot", "we"/"us"), and this Privacy and Cookie Statement applies to the collection, processing and use of personal data and the use of cookies and similar technologies by Pointo Pilot. Our Services can be used by you anonymously or pseudonymously to the extent this is technically possible and reasonable (e.g., this is not possible if you register for / log in to our Services using your full name).
Scope and Application This Privacy and Cookie Statement (Statement") applies to your use (as a User) of our Services.
I. Collection of Information and Location
i. Personal Data You Provide to Us We collect personal data you provide directly to us, such as when you
create or modify your account, request on-demand services, contact customer support, or otherwise
communicate with us. This personal data may include:

profile picture,
payment method,

services requested,
and other information you choose to provide.
ii. Personal Data
We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services When you use our Services, we collect personal data about you in
the following general categories:
Location Data: When you use our services, we collect precise
location data about the trip from the Pointo Pilot App. If you permit the Pointo Pilot App to access location services
through the permission system used by your mobile operating system ("Platform"), This app collects location data to enable Automatic ride service, Dynamic billing, & Ride route service when the app is in use (or running in Foreground) and even when the app is closed or not in use(or running background). We may also derive
your approximate location from your IP address.
Transaction Data: We collect transaction details related to
your use of our Services, including the service requested, date and time the service was provided, amount
charged, distance traveled, and other related transaction details.
Usage and Preference Data: We collect data about how you and site visitors interact with our Services, preferences expressed, and settings chosen.
Under certain circumstances, we do this through the use of cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies
that create and use unique identifiers. We may use these data to provide ads/support advertising/support ads.
Device Data: We collect data about your mobile device, including,
for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, software and file names and versions,
preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion data,
and mobile network information.
Call and SMS Data: To facilitate our Services, we may communicate with you
via call or SMS message through which we will collect the call data, including the date and time of the call
or SMS message, your phone number, and the content of the SMS message.
Log Data: When you interact with our
Services, we create server logs, which may include data like device IP address, access dates and times, app
features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and the third-party site
or service you were using before interacting with our Services.
iii. Important Information About Platform
Permissions Most mobile Platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined certain types of device data that apps
cannot access without your consent. These Platforms have different permission systems for obtaining your
consent. The iOS Platform will alert you the first time the Pointo Pilot App wants permission to access certain
types of data, for example, location, contacts, photo and camera and will let you consent (or not consent)
to that request. Android devices will notify you of the permissions that the Pointo Pilot App seeks before you
first use the Pointo Pilot App, and your use of the Pointo Pilot App constitutes your consent. Please note that if you
do not consent to the request you may not be able to access certain features of our Services.
iv. Personal
Data We Collect from Other Sources To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also receive personal
data related to you from other sources and combine that personal data with personal data we collect through
our Services. For example: If you choose to link, create, or log in to your Pointo Pilot account with a payment
provider (e.g., RazorPay) or social media service (e.g., Facebook), or if you engage with a separate app or
website that uses our API (or whose API we use), we may receive personal data about you or your connections
from that site or app. If you also interact with our Services in another capacity, for instance as a user of
other apps we provide, we may combine or associate that personal data with personal data we have collected
from you in your capacity as a User or rider.
II. Cookies and Similar Technologies Like many other on-line services
Our Services use "cookies", small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your device. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your e.g. browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your e.g. browser and may be used by your e.g. browser on subsequent visits of our website. When using a web browser, such web browser may provide you with some options regarding cookies. Please note that if you delete, or choose not to accept, cookies, you may not be able to utilize all features of the Services provided by us. We may use third party cookies in connection with our Services as well. For instance, we use Google Analytics to collect and process certain analytics data. We may not process or respond to web browsers’ "do not track" signals or other similar transmissions that indicate a request to disable online tracking of Users who visit our website or use our Services. Tracking technology also helps us manage and improve the usability of our Services, (i) detecting whether there has been any contact between your device and us in the past and (ii) to identify the most popular sections of our website, app etc. Our Services use Google Analytics a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (Google). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how Users use our Services. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case IP-anonymization is activated, your IP address will be truncated within the area of Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the whole IP address will be first transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP-anonymization is active within our Services. Google will use this information on behalf of us for the purpose of evaluating your use of our Services, compiling reports on app/website activity and providing us with other services relating to app/website activity and internet usage. The IP-address that your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. This helps us improve the way our Services work, for example, by ensuring that Users are finding what they are looking for easily. III. Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data

By ticking the appropriate tick box during the sign-up process for the Pointo Pilot App, you consent to the respective collection, processing and use of your personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of our processing of your data prior to such withdrawal, e.g. by contacting us at [email protected] . We use the personal data we collect about you in the following ways: i. Personal Data You Provide to Us. We will use this personal data: to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and use and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us; to provide you with information about other goods and services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about; to provide you, or permit selected third parties to provide you, with information about goods and service we feel may interest you. If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (email or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you. If you are a new customer, and where we permit selected third parties to use your personal data, we (or they) will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this.; to notify you about changes to our Services; to ensure that content from our Services is presented in the most effective manner for you and your device. ii. Personal Data We Collect Through Your Use of Our Services. Personal Data We Collect from Other Sources We will combine this personal data with personal data you give to us and personal data we collect about you. We will use this personal data and the combined personal data for the purposes set out above (depending on the types of personal data we receive).
IV. Sharing of Personal data
We may share the personal data we collect about you as described in this Statement or as described at the time of collection or sharing, including as follows: i. Through Our Services We may share your personal data: With other users, as requested or directed by you, when you wish to share your profile and trip data to engage in social activities or to obtain a promotion code; With third parties to provide you a service you requested through a partnership or promotional offering made by a third party or us; With the general public if you submit content in a public forum, such as blog comments, social media posts, or other features of our Services that are viewable by the general public; With third parties with whom you choose to let us share personal data, for example other apps or websites that integrate with our application programming interface ("API") or Services, or those with an API or Service with which we integrate. ii. Other Important Sharing We may share your personal data: With Pointo Pilot subsidiaries and affiliated entities that provide services or conduct data processing on our behalf, or for data centralization and / or logistics purposes; With vendors, consultants, marketing partners, and other service providers who need access to such personal data to carry out work on our behalf for the performance of any contract we enter into with them; In response to a request for personal data by a competent authority if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or is otherwise required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process; With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties such as a claims processor or an insurer if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our service terms and conditions for Users, policies or statements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pointo Pilot or others, or if there is a complaint, dispute or conflict, which may include an accident, involving you and a third party and such personal data is necessary to resolve this; If we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing; and In an aggregated and/or anonymized form which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
V. Social Sharing Features
The Services may integrate with social sharing features and other related tools which let you share actions you take on our Services with other apps, sites, or media, and vice versa. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the social sharing service. Please refer to the privacy policies of those social sharing services for more information about how they handle the data you provide to or share through them.
VI. Where We Process and Use Your Personal Data
The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and processed and used at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), such as China and Singapore, which may have a level of data protection different from the one in the EEA. It will also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. The European Commission has not made an adequacy decision in respect of China or Singapore so any such transfer will be based on your consent to such transfer.

i. Account Data You may correct your account data at any time by logging into your online or in-app account. If you wish to cancel your account, please email us at [email protected]. Please note that in some cases we may retain certain personal data about you as required by law, or for legitimate business purposes to the extent permitted by law. For instance, if you have a standing credit or debt on your account, or if we believe you have committed fraud or violated our service terms and conditions, we may seek to resolve the issue before erasing your personal data. ii. Your Rights You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing or to object to processing as well as the right to transmit your personal data to another controller. iii. Location Data As referred to above, we request consent for the Pointo Pilot App's collection of precise location from your device per the permission system used by your mobile operating system. If you initially permit the collection of this data, you can later disable it by changing the location settings on your mobile device. However, this will limit your ability to use certain features of our Services. iv. Complaints You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes your data protection rights. v. Contact Data We may also seek your consent for the Pointo Pilot App's collection and syncing of contact data from your device per the permission system used by your mobile operating system. If you initially permit the collection of this personal data, iOS users can later disable it by changing the contacts settings on your mobile device. Please note that the Android Platform does not provide such a setting. vi. Promotional Communications and Marketing You may opt out of receiving promotional messages from us by following the instructions in those messages. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account, about Services you have requested, or our ongoing business relations. You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your personal data to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data.
